Meet the Team
Resident Care Director
Angelica White has 40 years of experience in the senior living industry. In 2020, she was included in the Trademark Women of Distinction 2020 Honors, an incredible professional recognition. This is awarded to female professionals who demonstrate dedication, leadership and professional excellence. Her kindness and willingness to always help others is both exemplary and honorable.
Prior to joining the Foothill Village family seven years ago, Angelica held various management positions in the senior living industry. Angelica was a fire captain and EMT for 25 years, which has helped contribute to her success as Resident Care director.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Al Garcia is a West Coast native and recently moved with his family to the Mother Lode from Southern California. He is a graduate of San Francisco State University and brings more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the hospitality and leisure industries.
Joining the Foothill Village team in September 2021, Al finds it extremely rewarding working in the senior living industry. It brings him great joy to be able to help seniors find a home that works well for them, and allows them to maintain their independence, as well as being able to provide the level of assistance and services they need to live a vibrant life.
When not at Foothill Village, Al enjoys spending time boating at nearby Pinecrest Lake, playing and watching ice hockey, and also enjoys traveling internationally with his family.
Building Services Director
Aaron Clevenger has lived in the Foothills since 1996. He has a passion for helping people, which made him start young as a Highway Patrol explorer for two years, a volunteer firefighter for eight years and now making a career here at Foothill Village. Prior to Foothill Village, Aaron worked in road construction for 12 years.
He enjoys varieties of music, movies, dancing and sports as some of his hobbies with his son. Aaron enjoys making the best out of each day and hopes to pass on a smile to everyone he meets.
Vibrant Life® Director
Lena Straub was raised in the San Joaquin Valley, and now resides in Sugar Pine in Tuolumne County with her husband and cat. She had many careers working with the public and customer service before joining Foothill Village in 2016 as a Vibrant Life® assistant. In November 2018, she was promoted to Vibrant Life® director. Lena finds working in the community very rewarding and enjoys seeing our residents smile at learning something new.
She loves crafting, crocheting, reading and being in the outdoors.
Culinary Services Director
Christina Pierazzi lives locally in Calaveras County with her two daughters, Alexis and Zoey. She was 19 years old when she first started working with food as a bakery and deli clerk. While Christina was working in the food service industry, she attended Western Career College and graduated as a licensed pharmacy technician.
In 2012, Christina began working at a restaurant and quickly realized her true passion was working with food. Christina maintained jobs at two restaurants and worked her way up from a prep cook to a line cook prior to obtaining a position at Foothill Village nearly three years ago.
She joined the Foothill Village team as a cook and server before becoming the lead cook. Shortly after, Christina was promoted to Culinary Services director.
